Your comfort and satisfaction are top priorities for Dr. Manrique . At NewEra Medical Aesthetics and Laser Center we provide the latest technology and most effective techniques possible in order to serve you best. Adding the new PRO- NOX™ nitrous oxide system to our practice is the latest example of our commitment to exceptional patient care. Dr. Manrique offers PRO-NOX™ for analgesia of her patients minimizing anxiety and increasing her patients comfort level during some procedures.

What is PRO-NOX™?

ThePRO-NOX™ is Patient-controlled Inhaled Analgesia for In-Office use and takes effect in seconds, offering immediate relief of pain and anxiety. ThePRO-NOX™ is a pneumatically driven gas system designed to deliver a 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide mixture to adult and pediatric patients for the relief of pain and anxiety in a medical setting.

PRO-NOX™is different than traditional anesthesia, where the requisite anesthesiologist serves as driver and nurse anesthetist as chaperone, the PRO-NOX™ system is patient controlled analgesia.

With which procedures can PRO-NOX™ be used?

The Pro-Nox system offers state of the art comfort for procedures like micro-liponeck, Fat transfer, Renuvion, Infini, Fractional Erbium, Fractional CO2, PRP. During your treatment, you will be able to determine the amount of pain relief you need as you hold a disposable mouthpiece and hose and gently breathe nitrous oxide into your lungs. Because you know your body and your pain threshold better than anyone, you can now effectively control how much or little pain relief you require.

What is the difference between PRO-NOX™ and the dental analgesia?

PRO-NOX™ is different than the nitrous oxide administered by your dentist. Dentists administer up to 70% nitrous oxide which is considered anesthesia and the patient has no control over how much they breath in. While PRO-NOX™is considered analgesia and the patient has complete control over the amount they breath in.

Can I drive after using PRO-NOX™?

Just to be safe we ask patients to wait 20 minutes after the procedure and then they are safe to hit the road. Just think, greater comfort and no driver needed.
