How long does treatment usually take?

The JUVÉDERM® XC procedure is usually not painful. Dr. Manrique uses topical numbing cream to make the injection as comfortable as possible.
When will I see results?
You can see the results immediately after the treatment.
How long do results last?
Results can last for up to a full year, although they will vary depending on each patient skin condition before the treatment.
What are the side effects and downtime?
Side effects are usually minimal following a JUVÉDERM® XC treatment. The most common side effects include redness, swelling, and bruising around the injection sites; however, these should be temporary effects that disappear within a few days. There is usually no downtime following a JUVÉDERM® XC treatment. The patient can immediately resume their everyday activities after leaving the office.
